nair for men is good
I have:
- used an epilator on my face (mechanical contraption to remove hair - mine had a rotating drum with 20 tweezers)
- used a delapitory (cream hair remover) on my face (only resulted in the chemical burns from using it the maximum time twice in 1 day)
- waxed my face about every two weeks for a few months (yes, it fucking hurt)
- shaved my entire body with a regular razor (prohibitively tedious)
So I feel qualified to say that nair for men rocks.
Last night I finally tried it for the 1st time. The directions say
to leave it on for 5-6 minutes. Don't go over 10 or you'll die.
Rinse off with water, do not rub. Keep it off of your nipples.
(among other things)
Since the directions say to wet stubborn hair with warm water before
applying, and I'm a pesimest, I took a warm shower beforehand. I put
the nair on the front of my torso, neck to genitals, for 10 minutes,
then I rubbed it off with a wet towel (which required a lot of rinsing).
Almost all of the hair came off. I was very pleasantly surprised. A bit
was left in the center of my chest where I've had hair the longest,
so it's the densest and coarsest hair. But as I said, almost all of
the hair came off, and no sign of chemical burns - even on my nipples,
which I smeared right over because I didn't want to take the time to
go around them. I'm fairly confident I'll be able to get the rest when
paying more attention to how I'm applying the cream, but if the center
of my chest is all it ever misses, I can shave that.
So for all those of you who agree that body hair sucks, I strongly
recommend nair for men. I found it with the shaving supplies in my local
grocery store.
I just tried nair on my legs, and it didn't work quite as well as my
torso, but I suspect I didn't put it on thick enough this time.
I also tried it on my face, but it didn't seem to have any effect.
Still no chemical burns.
