On 8/14/2001 I had this really awesome idea.
If you really wanted to know what words rhymed with a given
word really bad, and couldn't think of any, what would you do ?
Okay, if you were me, you'd probably grep /usr/share/dict/words for
something that ended in the same characters. But what if you were
a more typical person ? I couldn't think of anything. I decided a
website that could give you a list of words that rhymed with a word
would be awesome, and decided to create one. I looked around a bit,
and couldn't find anything like it, so I was trying to decide on a
domain name. When I asked
mct's
opinion on the domain name thing, he responded by pointing out
rhymezone.com. It had already
been done. I just didn't find it. And I couldn't think of anything I
could do better than them. Bastards.
