More pinkee / Michelle.

I spent most of this past weekend with
pinkee and her two children,
ages 5 and 9. It was.. an experience. I'm still not sure if I'm ready
for kids. It was a very fun weekend. I really enjoyed spending time
with her. We are still trying to figure out what to make of this.
Mostly trying to find out how much I can deal with.
Yesterday morning I tried to turn on the large fan in my bathroom
window. It didn't go. I've done this many times before. Couldn't figure
out what was wrong. I thought I heard a sound, like an electrical motor
struggling. Unplugged it, and the sound stopped. Plugged it back in
and it started again. Definitely coming from the fan. I figured sitting
in the window in the rain finally got to it.
On closer examination, I found a small purple big-bird toothbrush
lodged in it. Heh.
But oh no, it doesn't stop there.
I just went to
club shampoo
again, with a few other friends.
pinkee couldn't go tonight. The night
started of very much like last Wednesday at shampoo ended - with New
Order's Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix). As I went in the door,
I heard it, and got rather excited. Then I noticed the line to get in,
and got rather distressed. I was rather worried I would miss it. Then I
remembered it was fairly long. When I finally got in, I ran for the dance
floor. I got to the dance floor in, I believe, the larger of the rest /
build up periods of the song, and once again, thoroughly enjoyed it.
I continued dancing because, hey, this is what I do. There was a
small young blond I saw look at me and smile, which rocked. A couple
songs later, the dance floor got flooded with fog... couldn't see half a
foot in front of me. I wandered off the dance floor. I think this is
when I ran into N-Tropy and Time3. When the fog faded a bit, I ended
up back on the dance floor, and ran into Derek.
Then this chick seemed to be looking at me... I realized she was
trying to read my shirt. N-tropy gave it to me yesterday. It says
I WILL NOT INSTIGATE REVOLUTION
I WILL NOT INSTIGATE REVOLUTION
I WILL NOT INSTIGATE REVOLUTION
I WILL NOT INSTIGATE REVOLUTION
I WILL NOT INSTIGATE REVOLUTION
I WILL NOT INSTIGATE REVOLUTION
I WILL NOT INSTIGATE REVOLUTION
I WILL NOT INSTIGATE REVOLUTION
I WILL NOT INSTIGATE REVOLUTION
...as if written on a chalk board.
She smiled. She continued to seem to pay attention to me. Eventually
we were definitely dancing together. I think both of our minds were a
bit blown. It just didn't stop. There was a bit of grinding, and just
a whole lot of dancing. I leaned over to her ear, and told her my name.
She responded "Michelle". Very thin. A little short. Very light.
I also ran into
Alexander
Shinn, a
Debian developer, on
the dance floor. It was cool, I wasn't particularly surprised to see
him there, as he dressed a bit like someone who might like the event.
Last time I was there, I saw a guy that looked familiar, and walked up
to him and asked if he knew why. After a moment of thought, he said no.
Tonight I was talking to one of my friends, and commented loudly enough
for this guy to hear "I still want to figure out who that guy is".
He noticed. He said he'd been thinking about it since last time,
and thought I looked familiar too. We eventually realized we both
knew Tim Allan - and that I'd done a consulting job where they worked.
I believe his name was Greg.
I ran into a couple other people I knew. I felt like I was running
into everybody. And Michelle introduced me to her friends, who had drug
her there.
Michelle said this was her first time at shampoo, and when I asked,
said that she hadn't been to other clubs much either. Especially given
this, she did quite well on the dance floor.
There was a while where she was sitting with some friends of hers,
talking. I sat with them a bit. I danced some. Then a song came on
that I like. I believe Beborn Beton's "Another World". I ran out to
find her, motioned for her to follow me.... she did, I took her by the
hand and lead her to the dance floor. We danced a lot longer. Then we
sat at the side of the dance floor together for some time.
When the time came for her to leave, we hugged. I told her I'd see
her again. She said okay.
My friends and I stayed till the music stopped. It was great.
The last song was awesome. Sounded kind of like Praga.. fast. Only word
I got out of it was "FIRE".
I believe this very day I was complaining about my difficulty with
women. I am currently a little more at ease with that issue.
Still rehydrating.

Got to talk to
pinkee about Michelle. It fits
what she
said, but is still odd that
pinkee seems totally okay with it,
and looks forward to seeing Michelle and I dance.
Tried calling Michelle yesterday (Thursday), but didn't succeed.
Wonder if she can handle this.
