Debian got fixed

Debian got fixed ! Linux is my favorite operating system. It is
based on Unix, and is distributed by multiple groups, each with their own
flavor of packaging, called a Linux Distribution. My favorite, by far,
is Debian. Debian is, in my opinion, one of the most open distributions,
and is quite powerful. The ability to upgrade every software package
on a computer with the commands "apt-get update;apt-get dist-upgrade"
is a good example of its wonderful power.
But Debian has had a problem. There were 2 distributions, stable
and unstable. You can do automated installations and upgrades off of
the online live archives of both distributions, but packages in unstable
are upgraded continuously, and packages in stable are only released as
an entire new CD distribution far too infrequently, and only updated with
serious security patches. And of course, unstable is, unstable.
The solution (which has seemed obvious to me) has finally been
implemented. A new distribution has been created, called testing.
If a software package has been in unstable for some period of time,
and does not have any major bugs filed against it, it is automatically
moved to testing. Awesome. My life has just been significantly improved.
