Monster's neutered

Monster got neutered yesterday. A concept I'm extremely uncomfortable with, but which I felt was necessary. I dropped him off at about 9:30am, and they made me put him in a metal cage all by himself, and I couldn't pick him up until 5pm. I felt really bad leaving him there.
When I get up in the morning, he
always gets up & greets me.
He didn't thismorning. I looked all over for him several times, and
couldn't find him. Whenever I make tunafish, as soon as I open the
can of tuna, he's at my feet, and I'm wondering why he's all excited,
until I remember I just opened tuna. So I opened a can of tuna. It was
sitting there for what seemed like hours, and he still didn't show up.
I was worried. I figured he decided he was dieing, and decided to curl
up in a ball well hidden somewhere and be discrete about it.
Then, around 5pm, he just walked down the stairs, and ate the tuna.
I was
so glad to see him. He's curled up in a cozy place on a
shelf under a small table, hidden by the table cloth at the moment.
